Alicia Bender

Alicia has been with Royal Credit Union for over 25 years and has built a foundation of trusted relationships and financial expertise, helping Members navigate their financial and mortgage needs with confidence. She began her Royal career as a teller before advancing into a lending role, where she gained extensive experience in loan processing and credit counseling. Throughout her career, Alicia has taken on leadership responsibilities, assisted with collections, and worked closely with the call center, making her a versatile and knowledgeable resource for Members. Alicia holds an associate degree in business administration and finance with an emphasis in accounting from Northwood Technical College. She is also a Certified Credit Union Counselor and a notary public. Known for her strong analytical skills, she enjoys tackling complex mortgage files and finding creative solutions to help Members achieve their homeownership goals.

Outside of work, Alicia enjoys giving back to her community and has been involved in various school and community organizations over the years. She loves spending time at her family’s cabin up north where she enjoys fishing, four-wheeling, and relaxing on the lake with family and friends.
