As of January 1, 2012, savings bonds are sold only in electronic format through https://www.treasurydirect.gov.

Savings bonds can still be redeemed at any Royal office.

You may also wish to consider other investment options, such as a certificate. A certificate can often be a better investment than a savings bond. Learn more about certificates here.
