What Are Shred Days?
Shred Days allow Members to securely dispose of confidential papers at Royal Credit Union offices. Royal partners with a mobile shredding service to shred and recycle Members’ papers at the specified office. Members are asked to bring a maximum of two file boxes of papers to shred to an event. Shred Day events are held at various Royal offices and listed in the events section of the Royal website. If there are no Shred Days showing in the events section, there are no upcoming Shred Day events.
Why Have Shred Day?
Shred Days are a great opportunity for Members to securely dispose of confidential papers. Identity thieves have been known to look through people’s garbage to find papers like tax statements, medical records, and account statements and gather enough information to impersonate a victim. By bringing your papers to a Royal Credit Union Shred Day event, you gain peace of mind knowing that your documents are being securely destroyed. The Shred Days are free for all Royal Credit Union Members. It’s just another way that Members get more at Royal!
