Karen’s Royal Credit Union Story

Karen Shane, owner of Kare-N-Style salon in Chippewa Falls, WI, shares her experiences with Royal Credit Union in this short video. “I wanted to go after my dream, but I did feel that I was probably at that age where I probably should not,” says Karen. “I didn’t think that I could do it.”

Within a few years, Karen was able to supplement her successful salon business with a new adventure: completing real estate renovations on houses. Reflecting on branching out into the world of what she calls real estate rehab, Karen says “I thought I was closer to the end, and I realized it’s just the beginning. I’m going farther than I ever thought I could!”

Karen is more than happy to give others a push to go after their dreams. “For a lot of people who think they’re too old to do something and your dreams are done – it’s not!
