Royal Credit Union Announces New Audit Services Manager

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – Royal Credit Union (Royal) announces David Norgaard as Audit Services Manager. In this position, Norgaard will ensure proper execution of the Audit Service Department’s vision, strategy, and audit plan and lead the financial, operational and compliance auditor groups within the Audit Services team.

Norgaard started at Royal as a high school co-op student in 2004. He took a brief break to study abroad in college for 10 months. He returned to Royal in 2009, and has held various positions that include Financial Sales Representative, Consumer Loan Officer, Internal Auditor and, most recently, Senior Internal Auditor. Norgaard currently serves on the RCU Foundation Fundraising Committee and the Family Promise of the Chippewa Valley Board of Directors.

Norgaard has a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He currently resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin with wife, Kristen and daughter, Eloise.
