EAU CLAIRE, Wis –Royal Credit Union (Royal) hosted a ribbon cutting celebration in honor of the 110th Birthday of the Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) and the 20th Anniversary of Royal’s Corporate Center opening in downtown Eau Claire. The event was held on Monday, March 31 at Royal’s Corporate Center at 200 Riverfront Terrace.
Event speakers included Eau Claire County Board Chair, Nancy Coffey, Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee Member, Mark Faanes, as well as Royal’s Board Chairman, Tom Huffcutt and President/CEO Brandon Riechers.
When Royal opened in 1964, one of the first actions our founders took was to join the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the value of that partnership.” said Brandon Riechers, President/CEO of Royal Credit Union. “Throughout the years, we have appreciated the Chamber’s unique ability to unite the public and private sectors for the betterment of our community as well as their continued efforts to support regional growth through exciting new developments.”
Royal’s Corporate Center originally opened in March 2005 sparking a ripple effect that led to the revitalization of downtown Eau Claire. Royal continues to be a driving influence by supporting small businesses and non-profits organizations. Royal also offers free financial education for all stages of life and gives back generously through corporate donations. The strong partnership between Royal and the Chamber continues with programs like The Chippewa Valley Young Professionals, the Youth Apprenticeship Program, Test Drive Next Stop Reality and events like the Chippewa Valley Rally and Eau What a Night. Together they help to create a vibrant business community that’s a great place to work, play, and live and look forward to continuing to serve the community for many years to come.
