EDINA, Minn. – Royal Credit Union (Royal) announces Josh Sargent as new Business Banking Officer in the South Metro Region of Minnesota. Sargent’s responsibilities include building relationships with new and existing business Members by providing support, service, and lending needs. He is based in Edina and serves the Apple Valley, Inver Grove Heights, and surrounding communities.
Sargent comes to Royal with more than 15 years of experience in the financial service industry having held a variety of roles ranging from information technology development and implementation to business banking and commercial loan support. Outside of work, Sargent is proud to be part of the Board of Directors for Anoka County Pheasants Forever. He has been active in the award-winning chapter for over 12 years, and they recently were recognized for raising over one million dollars for habitats.
Sargent is an advocate for Neighbors Inc. and 360 Communities, organizations that provide support for underserved families. He is passionate about helping fight food insecurity as well as making sure children have the proper winter clothing for harsh Minnesota winters. Sargent enjoys donating his time and energy to make a difference.
