At Royal Credit Union, community involvement is at the heart of what we do. Each year, we proudly sponsor over 250 events across Minnesota and Wisconsin, ranging from golf tournaments to music festivals, home and garden shows, parades, and baseball games. Recently, we had the opportunity to spread “pawsitivity” in the Stillwater, Minnesota community at KS95’s Pet Pawlooza event. Community members, accompanied by their pets, came to enjoy live music and interact with pet-related vendors. One of the event highlights was the local shelters who showcased animals in need of loving homes. It was heartwarming to see adoptions take place throughout the day, as families found their newest members amidst the festivities. At our booth, attendees were invited to pose with their furry friends at our “Paws & Kisses” photobooth. We also handed out pet bandanas and tennis balls to those who stopped by our booth. This event held particular significance for us following the success of the recent RCU Foundation event, Rock the Riverfront, which raised a total of $30,000 for three Wisconsin animal rescue charities.
