Meet Dane Goldbeck, our Business Loan Servicing Supervisor at Royal. Dane’s journey with Royal began in high school, when he joined as a co-op student through Memorial High School in Eau Claire. While studying accounting, Dane's teacher encouraged him to apply for Royal's co-op opportunities, which led him to roles in Consumer Account Servicing and Consumer Loan Servicing. Dane became a loyal team member, growing and thriving within the organization ever since.
Now, as the Business Loan Servicing Supervisor, Dane leads a team of Business Loan Servicing Specialists and Business Support Assistants. He’s responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the Business Loan Servicing and Support functions. His in-depth knowledge of loan servicing requirements, support systems, and various applications is crucial to the success of the Business Loans & Services Department.
Outside of his core responsibilities, Dane is highly involved in several Royal committees and initiatives, including OneRoyal Day, the Royal Summit, Royal Young Professionals, community giveback efforts, and Royal Toastmasters, to name just a few. These experiences have had a significant impact on both his personal and professional growth. They’ve allowed him to collaborate with colleagues from across the organization, gaining new perspectives on teamwork and cooperation. Dane finds these opportunities especially valuable as Royal continues to grow and evolve, strengthening his sense of engagement within the company.
Throughout his career, Dane has developed a passion for discovering efficiencies and streamlining processes. This drive not only boosts his confidence but also enhances his leadership abilities. In his current role, Dane thrives on helping his team improve their workflow, making tasks easier and more efficient for everyone involved.
Dane’s advice to team members and other young professionals is, "Challenge yourself to grow in areas where you are uncomfortable." His greatest development opportunities came from challenges and opportunities he wouldn’t have taken advantage of without the help of others encouraging him.
