Royal Credit Union’s Organizational Learning and Development Specialist, Scott Wuerch, is known for welcoming all new team members to their careers at Royal, training emerging and existing leaders, and aiding the career development for all team members. After nearly 13 years of dedicated service, Scott is retiring from Royal.
Scott started his career with Royal in October 2010. He was a founding member of Royal Toastmasters and has enjoyed seeing the program’s continued growth and ability to help team members strengthen their communication skills. In an effort to prepare potential leaders with the tools to succeed, Scott designed and implemented Royal’s Exploring Leadership program. The program won the Best in Show Award for Innovative Staff Development at the CUNA Councils Excellence in HR & Organizational Development Awards. Scott also played an instrumental role in the creation of Royal EDGE (Educate. Develop. Grow. Empower.), a program that allows team members to create personal career development plans.
Outside of Royal, Scott has served 42 years with the Township Fire Department and has been involved on the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kid’s Sake planning committee. Scott encourages everyone to choose to make a difference for those around you.
In retirement, Scott is looking forward to riding his motorcycle and enjoying time with his family and friends.
Thank you for all you have done for Royal and our team members, Scott. We wish you the very best in this new chapter.
