Royal Team Members Have a Blast at September Events!

Royal team members had a great time giving back at various community events throughout our three regions this September.

The St. Croix Valley had a busy first two weeks of the month, beginning with hosting Go Big or Go Broke at the Involvement Fair for the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. A few days later, team members enjoyed beautiful weather, classic cars, and a captivating air show while handing out car pens, tire gauges, and wooden airplanes to attendees at Wheels and Wings in Osceola. The following week, we returned to Osceola to participate in the annual Osceola Medical Center Golf Benefit.

In the Chippewa Valley, team members got to welcome local college students back to school with two events. Our Menomonie team joined other local businesses to welcome University of Wisconsin-Stout students to town at Meet Menomonie. A few days later, team members played Go Big or Go Broke with University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire students as part of the UW Meets EC event. About halfway through the month, we had a booth at the annual Senior Resource Fair, hosted at the L.E. Philips Senior Center. To close out the month, we hosted a brand-new Kid’s Club event at Ms. Marsha’s Pumpkin Patch in Medford, featuring an appearance from Savin’ Sammy!

Finally, our Metro team enjoyed interacting with community members this September at a variety of events. To kick off the month, we sponsored Inver Grove Heights Days and were involved with the Business & Community Expo on the final day of the celebration. The following week, we joined the Stillwater Area High School for their annual Pony Homecoming Carnival, where we debuted a new piggy bank ring toss game. Team members rounded out the Metro’s busy month of events by supporting local artists at the Marydale Festival in St. Paul.

Throughout the month, we held free shred events for community members at offices across our three regions. These collection events are held twice each year and allow Members and non-Members to securely dispose of confidential documents. To learn more about upcoming shred events, visit rcu.org/Shred.

We had a great time creating a positive impact in the communities we serve this September, and we’re looking forward to finishing out the year strong with even more fun events. To learn more about Royal’s commitment to our communities, visit rcu.org/WeGiveBack.
