This summer, our Kid’s Club Members had a blast at three events offered exclusively for them and their families! Royal Credit Union Kid’s Club is a free financial literacy program available to all Members aged 12 and younger, intended to help them learn about managing their money in a fun and interactive way so they are prepared for a successful financial future.
Kid’s Club at Fawn-Doe-Rosa
On June 8, we welcomed Kid’s Club Members and their guests to Fawn-Doe-Rosa in St. Croix Falls for a morning of fun at this nontraditional zoo! Savin’ Sammy greeted over 250 guests at the entrance, giving lots of hugs and high fives to our youngest Members. From there, attendees enjoyed the zoo at their own pace, interacting with deer, goats, tortoises, various birds and many more animals!
Savin’ Sammy’s Splash Bash
Royal gave Kid’s Club Members and their guests a chance to cool off this summer at Savin’ Sammy’s Splash Bash at Fairfax Pool in Eau Claire. Savin’ Sammy welcomed over 250 friends to this private pool party and even made an appearance at the top of the three-story waterslide! Attendees jumped and splashed all evening, taking advantage of the 600,000 gallon aquatic facility. Savin’ Sammy took pictures and gave out a lot of high fives to attendees while they took short breaks to enjoy snacks from Royal Credit Union’s Kid’s Club team. We appreciated the City of Eau Claire’s Recreation team and the staff at Fairfax pool for partnering on this fun event.
Kid’s Club Day at the Minnesota Twins Game
We wrapped up the summer Kids Club events on August 4 with a Minnesota Twins Game. The event was a grand slam for our Kid’s Club Members and their families! Metro area Members were invited to attend the Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox game for a day filled with sunshine and fun. Attendees picked up their tickets at the Royal booth where they could play lawn games and hang out with Savin’ Sammy before the game started. The event was a huge success and ended with a Twins win!
