Jerry Kwapick, Vice President- Commercial Lending Regional Manager at Royal Credit Union, was awarded the Legacy of Excellence Award at the 2023 White Bear Area Chamber Annual Meeting on Thursday, April 13. The award was presented to Jerry by Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar.
Jerry earned this award as a result of his involvement and dedication to the community of White Bear Lake. He has played an influential role in many organizations, holding the role of White Bear Area Chamber of Commerce Board President, White Bear Area YMCA Board President, White Bear Lake Area District 624 Foundation Board Member, and Vadnais Rotary Team Member. Jerry was also the White Bear Lake High School Girls Hockey Head Coach for ten years as well as a coach for the White Bear Lake Area Youth Hockey Association. Currently, Jerry serves as the White Bear Lake Economic Development Corporation President.

For the past 30 years, Jerry and his wife Linda have called White Bear Lake home. Looking ahead, Jerry plans to continue supporting many non-profits in the area as well as guiding students from the White Bear Area School District.
