How do we open a MatriMoney account?
You can open the account at any one of RCU's 12 convenient locations.

How will our guests know we have a MatriMoney account?
You will receive "We're Registered" cards to include with your invitations.*

How will we know if a guest gave us money as a wedding gift?
Your guests will receive a gift receipt when they make a deposit to include in a wedding card.

 

MatriMoney provides an elegant way for engaged couples to request cash that is consistent with wedding registries at retail stores. Your wedding guests can give you a monetary gift in a secure way by making deposits right to your MatriMoney account, where it starts earning interest immediately! You can use the money to help pay for your wedding, take a honeymoon, save for a down payment on a home, or anything you’d like!

office. We’ll provide you with
registry cards to include in your
invitations.* Our registry cards
are available in two styles to match
both traditional and
contemporary

How Your Guests Can Give
On the registry cards, there are simple instructions so your family and friends know how your RCU MatriMoney account works. They can give a gift online at www.rcu.org or stop by any RCU office. After your guests make a deposit into your MatriMoney account, they will receive a gift receipt card to include with their wedding card to you.

Accessing Your Account
When you’re ready, you can conveniently access your cash gifts at any RCU office. You will also have the flexibility of online account access with eBranch and telephone access with CompuTeller.

RCU will not be responsible for tracking deposits made to the account.

* If an account is opened less than 90 days prior to the wedding date, we cannot guarantee that the cards will be available.
